Amazon Web Services (AWS) provides on-demand cloud computing platforms and APIs to individuals, companies, and governments, on a metered pay-as-you-go basis. The AWS S3 Control API provides access to Amazon S3 control plane operations.
The Amazon AWS S3 Control API:
- Stores lifecycle configuration information
- Stores website configuration information if you configure your bucket for website hosting
- Stores versioning configuration
- Allows storing access permission information for the bucket
- Supports configuring your bucket to allow cross-origin requests
- Enables you to request Amazon S3 to save bucket access log
